Junior Captain 2023-24

Hi I’m Sophie, I am 16 years old, studying A-levels, and I am currently Junior Captain.
I have been a member at Barton since 2020.  My grandad first got me into golf in the summer of 2019 by taking me to the professionals' Saturday morning lessons.   I would like to thank the pros and all the Junior organisers for supporting and encouraging me to play.

I played my first competition in 2021 with a handicap of 45.0 and over the past 2 years I have got it down to 24.0.  
I am excited to take on the role of Junior Captain and will do my best to help the Junior section as much as I can. 

James Collison

Junior Vice Captain 2023-24

Hi I’m James, I am 16 years old and I am currently studying A-levels.  I have been a member here since 2019 and went to the Saturday morning professional lessons which helped me to improve and meet other juniors.

I played my first competition with a handicap of 36 and have since got it down to 15.3.

I would like to thank all the junior organisers for their support and I am excited to take on the role as Junior Vice Captain and will do my best to support the Junior Section as much as I can.
